With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoine Stoffels in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Staf Van Hoght saved KFC Maagdeveld from getting behind. Greg Lijsens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Tibau Denys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Terheidehoek's Christof Roose was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Staf Van Hoght in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Greg Lijsens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staf Van Hoght having to interfere. When Dimitri Tael fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. When Greg Lijsens came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Club Terheidehoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greg Lijsens couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the game, Simon Lieckens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Maagdeveld's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Terheidehoek the free kick. A collision led to KFC Maagdeveld getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Simon Lieckens hit a great ball. Antoine Stoffels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Staf Van Hoght showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greg Lijsens in the 35th minute of the match. Antoine Stoffels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staf Van Hoght having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Greg Lijsens in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Staf Van Hoght prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Greg Lijsens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Christiaan Roelandts fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jeffery Swiggers, passed just outside the right post. Antoine Stoffels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staf Van Hoght having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Antoine Stoffels fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Van Hinnendaels got free with Staf Van Hoght in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Terheidehoek's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
