In the 7th minute, one of La Furia Roja:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Furia Roja. In the 14th minute, Mateo Peters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremie Van Kestbeek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffel Tubbackx in the 20th minute of the match. KAA Beringen's Jeremie Van Kestbeek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save KAA Beringen from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the game, Joonatan Roels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KAA Beringen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Furia Roja the free kick. If Arne Van Den Bosche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of La Furia Roja booed when KAA Beringen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stan Van Gijsel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoffel Tubbackx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremie Van Kestbeek having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christoffel Tubbackx in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremie Van Kestbeek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremie Van Kestbeek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffel Tubbackx in the 48th minute of play. The La Furia Roja players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KAA Beringen were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Laurend Van Hove made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, KAA Beringen's Chris-George Martin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bas van der Eycken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeremie Van Kestbeek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffel Tubbackx in the 65th minute of play. Laurend Van Hove received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Bas van der Eycken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, KAA Beringen's Bas van der Eycken threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laurend Van Hove, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. La Furia Roja's Arne Van Den Bosche got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, La Furia Roja's goalkeeper Bas van der Eycken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris-George Martin. Chris-George Martin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Bas van der Eycken made a huge save. When Siebe Tombeur fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Furia Roja's protests and gave Siebe Tombeur a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 84 minutes, Laurend Van Hove managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAA Beringen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurend Van Hove was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris-George Martin got free with Bas van der Eycken in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bas van der Eycken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurend Van Hove in the 87th minute of the match. Arne Van Den Bosche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jeremie Van Kestbeek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
