Spectators: 6838 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christoffel Van Eijcke took the kick off in the first half of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Maxim Mestdagh successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Karel Klopterop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Verstuyft in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffel Van Eijcke in the 9th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Maxim Mestdagh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karel Klopterop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artuur Breugelmans in the 13th minute of the match. AFC Richmond's Maxim Mestdagh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffel Van Eijcke in the 15th minute of play. Karel Klopterop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoph Verstuyft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxim Mestdagh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christoffel Van Eijcke's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artuur Breugelmans in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karel Klopterop prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, AFC Richmond's Tommy den Pelsmaeker got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, VC DE Leeuwkens's Pierre-Olivier Van Meerbeeck broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffel Van Eijcke in the 27th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Maxim Mestdagh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffel Van Eijcke came free, but Maxim Mestdagh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karel Klopterop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoph Verstuyft, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Rene Heremans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karel Klopterop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AFC Richmond's Maxim Mestdagh got control of the ball when Andy Verbeke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustaaf De Ketelaere kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The corner led AFC Richmond's Daevy Ramps to fire away a dangerous shot which Karel Klopterop despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The VC DE Leeuwkens players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFC Richmond were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christoph Verstuyft to strike the kick off in the second half. VC DE Leeuwkens's Karel Klopterop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save VC DE Leeuwkens from getting a goal against them. A collision led to VC DE Leeuwkens getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Dyllen Leenpoels hit a great ball. Artuur Breugelmans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. VC DE Leeuwkens's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Christoph Verstuyft scored to the left of an out of position Karel Klopterop, making the score, 0-2. Christoph Verstuyft was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 74th minute Christoffel Van Eijcke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxim Mestdagh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoffel Van Eijcke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Mestdagh having to interfere. If Ludo Van Gysel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, VC DE Leeuwkens's Gustaaf De Ketelaere got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Daevy Ramps sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and VC DE Leeuwkens's Karel Klopterop didn't even have to move. Perry Gyselincx's late challenge caught a AFC Richmond's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perry Gyselincx helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes VC DE Leeuwkens got a freekick which was hit by Perry Gyselincx. Christoph Verstuyft struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Karel Klopterop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Richmond. A hard shot 95 in the game by Artuur Breugelmans from a close distance when the talented Karel Klopterop managed to make a qualified save. VC DE Leeuwkens's players were relieved. The VC DE Leeuwkens supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AFC Richmond's performance. The match ended with a win for AFC Richmond.
