Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Elzestraat's Lionel Sommers got a free kick in the 5th minute. Laurend Van Hove recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Elzestraat getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lionel Sommers hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurend Van Hove in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Vloeberghs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elzestraat's Alexander Vloeberghs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris-George Martin in the 11th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Pierre-Paul De Ceijser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elzestraat and the KAA Beringen players grew even worse after the yellow card. 14 minutes into the game, one of Elzestraat:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 1-1 became the score in the 22nd minute when Dieter Rix elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Chris-George Martin might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Vloeberghs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chris-George Martin ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexander Vloeberghs came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by KAA Beringen's Laurend Van Hove. But to his dismay, Laurend Van Hove quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Boudewijn Beets charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boudewijn Beets the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of KAA Beringen booed when Elzestraat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boudewijn Beets didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurend Van Hove received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alexander Vloeberghs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Elzestraat's goal looked a bit too open when Chris-George Martin came free, but Alexander Vloeberghs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laurend Van Hove stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeremie Van Kestbeek went to the wrong direction when Pierre-Paul De Ceijser was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Jeremie Van Kestbeek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieter Rix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, KAA Beringen's Alex De Schutter got a free kick in the 65th minute. Alexander Vloeberghs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris-George Martin in the 70th minute. Boris Van den Sande hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Dieter Rix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. KAA Beringen's Jeremie Van Kestbeek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Van Acht in the 79th minute of play. Elzestraat's Lionel Sommers pulled a muscle in his back after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex De Schutter during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jeremie Van Kestbeek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieter Rix in the 82nd minute of play. Jeremie Van Kestbeek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Van Acht, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Chris-George Martin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Alexander Vloeberghs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremie Van Kestbeek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dean Van Acht went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.
