In the 19th minute, Boris Van Beringen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Humblets didn't quite understand what happened when in the 21 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Evert Van Glabeeke charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evert Van Glabeeke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of GoeBezig Vilvoorde booed when The Doors United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yoeri Lanen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Vissenaeken, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The Doors United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Florian Humblets scored to the left of an out of position Yoeri Lanen, making the score, 1-1. If Sergio Vissenaeken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Vissenaeken in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yoeri Lanen saved The Doors United from getting behind. Florian Humblets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoeri Lanen having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, GoeBezig Vilvoorde's Sergio Vissenaeken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yoeri Lanen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74thth minute of the game Sergio Vissenaeken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Doors United's Yoeri Lanen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as GoeBezig Vilvoorde's Sergio Vissenaeken slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yoeri Lanen. That made the score 1-2 after 77 minutes of play. After 83rd play minutes Sergio Vissenaeken shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Yoeri Lanen and just under the crossbar into goal. Florian Humblets might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yoeri Lanen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Humblets ran back to his position shaking his head. Florian Humblets kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. GoeBezig Vilvoorde's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
