Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Reinaud Van Meensel made the kick off which started today's match. Reinaud Van Meensel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, KSV Chiny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jos Raeymakers to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Reinaud Van Meensel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jozef Airpoel. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Jozef Airpoel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hendrik Klijnhens in the 18th minute. Hendrik Klijnhens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jozef Airpoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jannick Deroek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaud Van Meensel in the 28th minute of play forced Eisden's goalkeeper Jozef Airpoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eisden's goalkeeper Jozef Airpoel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hendrik Klijnhens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jozef Airpoel made a huge save. When Jannick Deroek came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Eisden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jannick Deroek couldn't finish the play. Jannick Deroek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolphe van Hacht having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jannick Deroek in the 38th minute of play forced KSV Chiny's goalkeeper Adolphe van Hacht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hendrik Klijnhens got free with Jozef Airpoel in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd match minute, KSV Chiny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Van Den Broeck to maneuver through the defense. Jos Raeymakers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jozef Airpoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jannick Deroek made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Hendrik Klijnhens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Airpoel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of KSV Chiny booed when Eisden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jasper De Schepper didn't get a good kick on the ball. KSV Chiny's Hendrik Klijnhens got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reinaud Van Meensel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jozef Airpoel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Jos Raeymakers hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jannick Deroek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 71 minutes, Jannick Deroek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eisden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jannick Deroek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jannick Deroek hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Jos Raeymakers was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Jos Raeymakers hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, KSV Chiny's Hendrik Klijnhens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jozef Airpoel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jozef Airpoel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hendrik Klijnhens went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Reinaud Van Meensel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jasper De Schepper hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Hendrik Klijnhens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
