Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thommy Wils kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Jannick Deroek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eisden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halen the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jannick Deroek got free with Dylan van der Eycken in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17thth minute of the game Thommy Wils who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eisden's Jozef Airpoel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julius Grauwen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Airpoel having to interfere. Dylan van der Eycken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jannick Deroek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dylan van der Eycken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jannick Deroek, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Brent Van Langendonckx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dylan van der Eycken having to make a save. 35 minutes into the match, Halen's goal looked a bit too open when Jannick Deroek came free, but Dylan van der Eycken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eisden's Jannick Deroek got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Brent Van Langendonckx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eisden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halen the free kick. A collision led to Eisden getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Brent Van Langendonckx hit a great ball. Jannick Deroek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dylan van der Eycken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Dylan van der Eycken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jannick Deroek in the 55th minute of play. Jasper De Schepper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 played minutes Halen got a freekick which was hit by Xander Stroobant. After a rather tough play, Halen's Constant Van der Loock got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jannick Deroek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Halen's goalkeeper Dylan van der Eycken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Jannick Deroek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dylan van der Eycken. Halen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jannick Deroek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some careless play in the Halen defense, Jannick Deroek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dylan van der Eycken. The Halen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dylan van der Eycken should have stopped the shot. Jozef Airpoel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thommy Wils, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jasper De Schepper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
