Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 11th match minute, FC Woud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Pelsmaeckers to maneuver through the defense. Werner Luijten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michel Heijlen was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Reinaud Van Meensel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The tension between the FC Woud and the KSV Chiny players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of KSV Chiny booed when FC Woud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renzo Degraef didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Tibo Costermans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Heijlen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Michel Heijlen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinaud Van Meensel went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match, FC Woud's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaud Van Meensel came free, but Michel Heijlen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Heijlen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik Klijnhens in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Sanders in the 71st minute of play forced FC Woud's goalkeeper Michel Heijlen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Heijlen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jos Raeymakers, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Michel Heijlen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Sanders, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KSV Chiny had played much better football throughout.
