With his leg Dylan van der Eycken managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when FC Woud's Christoff Grootjans fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Christoff Grootjans struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Dylan van der Eycken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Woud. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christoff Grootjans got free with Dylan van der Eycken in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michel Heijlen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Libesoons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Lennart Libesoons ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Heijlen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 15th minute, Christoff Grootjans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Woud fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ramon Pelsmaeckers kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thommy Wils in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Woud's goalkeeper Michel Heijlen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoff Grootjans received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dylan van der Eycken came out and tried to block the shot, but Christoff Grootjans slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 25th minute. The supporters of Halen booed when FC Woud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Caers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xander Stroobant didn't quite understand what happened when in the 32 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 33 played minutes FC Woud got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Pelsmaeckers. Ramon Pelsmaeckers hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes FC Woud got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Hulsen. A collision led to FC Woud getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ramon Pelsmaeckers hit a great ball. Bill Daneels fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 46th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Thommy Wils made the kick off in the second half. Ramon Pelsmaeckers took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dylan van der Eycken. Dylan van der Eycken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. With an all-out effort, Halen's Michel Heijlen threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thommy Wils, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ramon Hulsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ramon Pelsmaeckers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Mattheo Van der Vorst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Halen's Xander Stroobant got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Bill Daneels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Ramon Pelsmaeckers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Woud's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Pelsmaeckers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, FC Woud's Bill Daneels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dylan van der Eycken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Woud's Michel Heijlen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thommy Wils in the 95th minute of play. FC Woud were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Halen for a fine match.
