Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tjorven Koten kicked off to start the match. Jannick Van der Willeghem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tjorven Koten in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Paul Heirpoel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Berckmans was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 11 played minutes VC Perwez got a freekick which was hit by Philippe-Arnaud Parmentier. Wesly Wolfdoncx scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Berckmans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamin Berckmans was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wart Libreghts. Paul Heirpoel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Berckmans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Benjamin Berckmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Heirpoel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anthony De Deygere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 minutes, Wesly Wolfdoncx made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. KFC Stavelot's Benjamin Berckmans tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to VC Perwez getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Philippe-Arnaud Parmentier hit a great ball. Wesly Wolfdoncx was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Wesly Wolfdoncx struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Benjamin Berckmans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Perwez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Heirpoel in the 47th minute of play forced KFC Stavelot's goalkeeper Benjamin Berckmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paul Heirpoel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as KFC Stavelot's Etienne Van Der Heijden slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jannick Van der Willeghem. That made the score 2-1 after 51 minutes of play. Billie Van Den Brande hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Paul Heirpoel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Berckmans having to interfere. Lander Rauvoets's late challenge caught a VC Perwez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lander Rauvoets helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Lander Rauvoets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Anthony De Deygere managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Stavelot's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthony De Deygere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jannick Van der Willeghem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Wesly Wolfdoncx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Benjamin Berckmans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 68 played minutes VC Perwez got a freekick which was hit by Philippe-Arnaud Parmentier. In the 70th minute, Tjorven Koten fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Wesly Wolfdoncx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Heirpoel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Berckmans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Benjamin Berckmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Heirpoel in the 77th minute of the match. Wesly Wolfdoncx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The VC Perwez fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when VC Perwez's Paul Heirpoel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tjorven Koten in the 84th minute of play forced VC Perwez's goalkeeper Jannick Van der Willeghem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthony De Deygere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wesly Wolfdoncx struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Benjamin Berckmans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Perwez. The attack was good, but when Paul Heirpoel in the 89th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the referee ended the match the VC Perwez players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
