Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5682, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marnix Wans kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes KVSK Yvoir got a freekick which was hit by Rein Van de Weijer. In the 5th minute, Pierrot Verdeyen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marnix Wans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christof Van Dock took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mike Huijsmans. Mike Huijsmans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Qwinten Clinckspoor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacob Vandeput having to make a save. In the 18th minute, Qwinten Clinckspoor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, KVSK Yvoir's Jacob Vandeput got control of the ball when Qwinten Clinckspoor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christof Van Dock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KVSK Yvoir's Christof Van Dock got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Meetjesland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopold Van Aerschot to maneuver through the defense. Christof Van Dock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mike Huijsmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marnix Wans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Qwinten Clinckspoor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Correyns during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Meetjesland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Correyns to maneuver through the defense. Mike Huijsmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christof Van Dock, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopold Van Aerschot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christof Van Dock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Mike Huijsmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to KVSK Yvoir getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Christof Van Dock hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qwinten Clinckspoor in the 65th minute of play forced KVSK Yvoir's goalkeeper Jacob Vandeput to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, one of KVSK Yvoir:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 71 minutes, Marnix Wans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KVSK Yvoir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marnix Wans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christof Van Dock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mike Huijsmans having to make a save. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meetjesland's goalkeeper Mike Huijsmans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Qwinten Clinckspoor might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacob Vandeput. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Qwinten Clinckspoor ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Meetjesland's zone, Christof Van Dock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike Huijsmans came out of the goal and Christof Van Dock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 minutes, Rein Van de Weijer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KVSK Yvoir and the Meetjesland players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KVSK Yvoir getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Rein Van de Weijer hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Meetjesland's goalkeeper Mike Huijsmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christof Van Dock. Qwinten Clinckspoor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Vandeput having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
