Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5005, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) Nico Van Hoeij made the kick off and thus started the match. Herve Van Dessen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emile Isemborgh in the 5th minute of the match. Tuur Hally received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Herve Van Dessen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Matias Van der Roost got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Tuur Hally ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herve Van Dessen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Will Wyfliets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When KVC Berchem's Tuur Hally in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RSC Bombaye's goalie prevented a goal. Herve Van Dessen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Van der Roost in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Matias Van der Roost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herve Van Dessen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Van Hoeij kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Will Wyfliets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herve Van Dessen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herve Van Dessen came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by KVC Berchem's Emile Isemborgh. But to his dismay, Emile Isemborgh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, KVC Berchem's Matias Van der Roost sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herve Van Dessen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emile Isemborgh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Herve Van Dessen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herve Van Dessen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuur Hally in the 33rd minute of play. Matias Van der Roost took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herve Van Dessen. Herve Van Dessen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 46th match minute, RSC Bombaye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rob Desmet to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute Matias Van der Roost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herve Van Dessen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half KVC Berchem were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of KVC Berchem booed when RSC Bombaye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aime Verbraecken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Van der Roost could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Herve Van Dessen made a huge save. Herve Van Dessen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Will Wyfliets, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Matias Van der Roost came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Herve Van Dessen could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tuur Hally in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herve Van Dessen saved RSC Bombaye from getting behind. When KVC Berchem's Tuur Hally in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RSC Bombaye's goalie prevented a goal. Will Wyfliets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Herve Van Dessen managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when KVC Berchem's Matias Van der Roost fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 66 minutes into the match, RSC Bombaye's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Schrevens came free, but Herve Van Dessen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herve Van Dessen made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Will Wyfliets sent off a good shot on target. Herve Van Dessen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuur Hally, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the RSC Bombaye defense, Will Wyfliets kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herve Van Dessen. The RSC Bombaye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herve Van Dessen should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute, Nico Van Hoeij hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, RSC Bombaye's goal looked a bit too open when Tuur Hally came free, but Herve Van Dessen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herve Van Dessen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuur Hally, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Emile Isemborgh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herve Van Dessen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Matias Van der Roost came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Herve Van Dessen could save by the left post. Nico Van Hoeij's late challenge caught a KVC Berchem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nico Van Hoeij helped the player get up and apologised. Will Wyflietss short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Herve Van Dessen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
