Spectators: 7380 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leopold Van Aerschot took the kick off in the first half of the match. SK Leffinge's Harold Fossaert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qwinten Clinckspoor in the 4th minute of play. Matthis Himschoot charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthis Himschoot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, SK Leffinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthis Himschoot to maneuver through the defense. Mike Huijsmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesly Dekker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mike Huijsmans came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Leffinge's Jakob Vanden Driessche. But to his dismay, Jakob Vanden Driessche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Leopold Van Aerschot put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Harold Fossaert. Qwinten Clinckspoor scored 1-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Harold Fossaert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pierrot Verdeyen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Leopold Van Aerschot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopold Van Aerschot in the 42nd minute of play forced SK Leffinge's goalkeeper Harold Fossaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes of play, SK Leffinge's Jakob Vanden Driessche made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mike Huijsmans was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wesly Dekker to strike the kick off in the second half. Wesly Dekker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Huijsmans having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SK Leffinge's zone, Leopold Van Aerschot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harold Fossaert came out of the goal and Leopold Van Aerschot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, SK Leffinge's Mats Pluijssens got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Qwinten Clinckspoor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SK Leffinge booed when Meetjesland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Van Beneden didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Meetjesland's zone, Jakob Vanden Driessche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike Huijsmans came out of the goal and Jakob Vanden Driessche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Wesly Dekker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Meetjesland getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Douglas Van Beneden hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Matthis Himschoot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Huijsmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Wesly Dekker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Leffinge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesly Dekker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopold Van Aerschot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Harold Fossaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesly Dekker in the 87th minute of play forced Meetjesland's goalkeeper Mike Huijsmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wesly Dekker succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. Wesly Dekker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Huijsmans having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
