KVSK Yvoir's Jacob Vandeput played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesly Dekker in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SK Leffinge's zone, Christof Van Dock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harold Fossaert came out of the goal and Christof Van Dock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marnix Wans struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Harold Fossaert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KVSK Yvoir. When KVSK Yvoir's Marnix Wans in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Leffinge's goalie prevented a goal. After 24 played minutes SK Leffinge got a freekick which was hit by Matthis Himschoot. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind KVSK Yvoir's goalkeeper Jacob Vandeput, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wesly Dekker was the one to do the kick off. Jacob Vandeput made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesly Dekker in the 56th minute of play. Rein Van de Weijer hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Jacob Vandeput showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesly Dekker in the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, KVSK Yvoir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias van Haecht to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, SK Leffinge's goal looked a bit too open when Christof Van Dock came free, but Harold Fossaert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Phillipe De Worteleere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacob Vandeput was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Wesly Dekker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wesly Dekker really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Christof Van Dock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Rein Van de Weijer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SK Leffinge's Mats Pluijssens got a free kick in the 99th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
