An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Weygaerts in the 6th minute of play forced Maccabi Tilly-Aviv's goalkeeper Diedrik Vandamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guy Henrix who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Andreas Gijsbrechts when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Diedrik Vandamme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Gilis in the 11th minute of the match. Guy Henrix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Bijvoorde's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Justus came free, but Andreas Gijsbrechts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierre Justus struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Andreas Gijsbrechts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maccabi Tilly-Aviv. 29 minutes into the match, Bijvoorde's goalkeeper Andreas Gijsbrechts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guy Henrix. Andreas Gijsbrechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Justus in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Bijvoorde getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gunter Vermeulen hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Pierre Justus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Gijsbrechts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Angelo Gilis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bijvoorde's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Gilis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diedrik Vandamme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pierre Justus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Pierre Justus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Gijsbrechts having to interfere. Andreas Gijsbrechts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre Justus went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Guy Henrix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the game, Pierre Justus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Andreas Gijsbrechts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maccabi Tilly-Aviv were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bijvoorde for a fine match.
