Club Chaumont-Gistoux's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lou Geldhof was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Chaumont-Gistoux's Francis Ruelens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Justus in the 91st minute of play. Pierre Justus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Francis Ruelens came out and tried to block the shot, but Pierre Justus slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 96th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
