Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Steven Vollens kicked off to start the match. Jens Snieders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Vollens, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Steven Vollens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in RoccoJuniors-resigning!!!'s zone, Gerrit Waeberghe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Snieders came out of the goal and Gerrit Waeberghe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Van den Enden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lieven Keuppens in the 29th minute of play. Thommy Dauwen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to RoccoJuniors-resigning!!! getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lieven Keuppens hit a great ball. Lieven Keuppens struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Samuel Van den Enden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RoccoJuniors-resigning!!!. Lieven Keuppens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Van den Enden having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Steven Vollens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens Snieders made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Gerrit Waeberghe sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Jean-Louis Van de Gaer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Zymotic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lieven Keuppens made the kick off in the second half. If Lieven Keuppens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Vollens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerrit Waeberghe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Snieders having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Gerrit Waeberghe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Zymotic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerrit Waeberghe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute Steven Vollens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Snieders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th match minute, RoccoJuniors-resigning!!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benoit Parmentier to maneuver through the defense. RoccoJuniors-resigning!!!'s Jens Snieders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Vollens in the 93rd minute of play. FC Zymotic walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
