Douglas Huysmans's late challenge caught a FC Zymotic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douglas Huysmans helped the player get up and apologised. Douglas Huysmans hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Samuel Van den Enden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent-Jan Nys in the 27th minute of play. Arnaud Vercammen hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, KFC Voshoek's Bart de Koninck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Van den Enden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Brent-Jan Nys sped through FC Zymotic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuel Van den Enden. FC Zymotic's Samuel Van den Enden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save FC Zymotic from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Brent-Jan Nys made the kick off in the second half. Jean Taverniers kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Bart de Koninck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Van den Enden having to make a save. 75 minutes into the match, FC Zymotic's goal looked a bit too open when Brent-Jan Nys came free, but Samuel Van den Enden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremey Ingelbert hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Bart de Koninck notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Zymotic's Samuel Van den Enden. Samuel Van den Enden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. KFC Voshoek's Brent-Jan Nys got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Brent-Jan Nys managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Voshoek's supporters rose to their feet, but Brent-Jan Nys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Van den Enden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
