Jan Everaerts was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelo Goemyne showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Oliver Van den Brul in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jan Everaerts, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jan Everaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Goemyne, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Oliver Van den Brul took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jan Everaerts to make any attempt to save it. Jacob Steuckens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angelo Goemyne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Everaerts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Oliver Van den Brul who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Jan Everaerts when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Glory209 booed when KSV Pittem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Weba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Angelo Goemyne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Everaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Oliver Van den Brul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glory209 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Maxime Huijbreghts hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. KSV Pittem were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Glory209's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Boris Van de Zande took the corner. After taking down the ball on KSV Pittem's corner Boris Van de Zande fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolf Jaddon quite easily take care of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Oliver Van den Brul cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jan Everaerts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in KSV Pittem's zone, Oliver Van den Brul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Everaerts came out of the goal and Oliver Van den Brul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Peter Leemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Jaddon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Everaerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Goemyne in the 80th minute of the match. Jan Everaerts came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Glory209's Oliver Van den Brul. But to his dismay, Oliver Van den Brul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Oliver Van den Brul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute.
