Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luk Van de Poel made the kick off which started today's match. Hendrik Stas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Adolf Van Haerschot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Hendrik Stas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolf Van Haerschot was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Adolf Van Haerschot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Dewolf's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. If Alfred Dewolf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bergwijk's Hendrik Stas got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Hendrik Stas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolf Van Haerschot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jan-Pieter Vlimmens hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, Bergwijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Dewolf to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Dewolf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bergwijk's goalkeeper Laurens Lissens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adolf Van Haerschot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Dewolf in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Remie Van Adorp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RSC Adegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bergwijk the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Alfred Dewolf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergwijk's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Dewolf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolf Van Haerschot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. RSC Adegem's Adolf Van Haerschot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hendrik Stas in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Bergwijk were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hendrik Stas to strike the kick off in the second half. Mark Gijselinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Gijselinx in the 54th minute of play forced Bergwijk's goalkeeper Laurens Lissens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joost Schols kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bergwijk! Luk Van de Poel took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurens Lissens. Laurens Lissens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alfred Dewolf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolf Van Haerschot having to make a save. Adolf Van Haerschot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Dewolf in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in RSC Adegem's zone, Hendrik Stas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolf Van Haerschot came out of the goal and Hendrik Stas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfred Dewolf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Gijselinx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurens Lissens having to interfere. Laurens Lissens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Gijselinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The supporters of RSC Adegem booed when Bergwijk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stan De Vleeschauwer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Dewolf was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Bergwijk's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alfred Dewolf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Adolf Van Haerschot made a huge save. RSC Adegem succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bergwijk had controlled the match.
