Francois Schouters was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christiaan Vermeiren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Michiels got free with Aristides Nevada in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 played minutes KFC Nudorp got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Wortelaert. When Christiaan Vermeiren came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the KFC Nudorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiaan Vermeiren couldn't finish the play. Francois Schouters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amaury Steckens in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Dooren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lander Volens to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Nudorp's zone, Rene Dekker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Nevada came out of the goal and Rene Dekker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoor Van Calster in the 38th minute of play. Aristides Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoor Van Calster in the 40th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

KFC Nudorp's Christiaan Vermeiren got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to KFC Nudorp getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Sergio Wortelaert hit a great ball. Isidoor Van Calster kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Thibaud Van Hecke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Nudorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thibaud Van Hecke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. KFC Nudorp's Aristides Nevada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Michiels in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dooren's Harrie Degraef got a free kick in the 80th minute. Thibaud Van Hecke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francois Schouters was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amaury Steckens showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 83 minute of play. Freddy Switten hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When George Michiels fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dooren's protests and gave George Michiels a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KFC Nudorp booed when Dooren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Michiels didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francois Schouters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiaan Vermeiren in the 90th minute of the match. Isidoor Van Calster blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristides Nevada having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiaan Vermeiren in the 97th minute of play forced Dooren's goalkeeper Francois Schouters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KFC Nudorp's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
