Jordy Van Aertvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Michiels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robbe Van Hautvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoor Van Calster, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Reinaud De Maerschalck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, George Michiels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 12 minutes, Isidoor Van Calster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dooren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoor Van Calster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoor Van Calster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Isidoor Van Calster came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Dooren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoor Van Calster couldn't finish the play. Isidoor Van Calster might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robbe Van Hautvin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoor Van Calster ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Michiels got free with Robbe Van Hautvin in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robbe Van Hautvin made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when George Michiels sent off a good shot on target. After 31 played minutes Sankt-Vith got a freekick which was hit by Erwin-Alexander Reiniers. After some careless play in the Sankt-Vith defense, George Michiels kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robbe Van Hautvin. The Sankt-Vith fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robbe Van Hautvin should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Sankt-Vith getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jordy Van Aertvin hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Reinaud De Maerschalck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sankt-Vith's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dooren the free kick. A collision led to Sankt-Vith getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Reinaud De Maerschalck hit a great ball. George Michiels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When George Michiels came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Dooren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Michiels couldn't finish the play. Isidoor Van Calster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbe Van Hautvin having to interfere.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoor Van Calster was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Isidoor Van Calster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dooren's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoor Van Calster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robbe Van Hautvin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dooren's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Steven Biesen scored to the left of an out of position Francois Schouters, making the score, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Mesmaeckers during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sankt-Vith's Tony Mesmaeckers got a free kick in the 64th minute. Isidoor Van Calster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Rene Dekker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbe Van Hautvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Dooren got a freekick which was hit by Rene Dekker. In the 81st minute, Toon Vandewalle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francois Schouters was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Dooren's Francois Schouters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Biesen in the 85th minute of play. Isidoor Van Calster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Robbe Van Hautvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When George Michiels came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Dooren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Michiels couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sankt-Vith's Erwin-Alexander Reiniers got a free kick in the 98th minute. Dooren's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
