Bart De Metser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Nicolaas Van Haght tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 played minutes KAA Binkom got a freekick which was hit by Robbin Beetens. Nicolaas Van Haght made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Mats Van de cauter sent off a good shot on target. Luuk Valckenaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbin Beetens, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Geoffry De Maijer came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the KAA Binkom fans jumped to their feet. SC Vlierzele's Luuk Valckenaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoffry De Maijer in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Mats Van de cauter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Vlierzele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mats Van de cauter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Nicolaas Van Haght made a huge save. When Freddy Roekeloos fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KAA Binkom's protests and gave Freddy Roekeloos a yellow card for diving instead. Matty Van Dessel, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Geoffry De Maijer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luuk Valckenaerts was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

Nicolaas Van Haght took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Van de cauter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Robbin Beetens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luuk Valckenaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mats Van de cauter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolaas Van Haght having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Geoffry De Maijer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Geoffry De Maijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Robbin Beetens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luuk Valckenaerts was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Luuk Valckenaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbin Beetens, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Ramon Vanden Driessche sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luuk Valckenaerts skillfully saved the ball. In the 86th minute Robbin Beetens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luuk Valckenaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lionel Thijs kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Robbin Beetens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willem-Alexander Huveneers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luuk Valckenaerts. SC Vlierzele's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, KAA Binkom's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Van de cauter came free, but Nicolaas Van Haght reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
