The referee gave Alexandre Roockeloes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 34 played minutes Wolvendaal got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Roockeloes. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brian Van Beetz made a kick off. Jean-Louis Valckeners in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Axel Roulin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Floreffe's zone, Steffen De Spiegeleire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Roulin came out of the goal and Steffen De Spiegeleire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Frederick Van Elsen fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floreffe's protests and gave Frederick Van Elsen a yellow card for diving instead. Frederick Van Elsen kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Wolvendaal's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Floreffe had won, even though Wolvendaal had held more of the ball.
