After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Bryan Limpens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergerhout's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryan Limpens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Roulin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute Benjamin De Hertoge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Roulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bryan Limpens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernard Mampaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julien Franckx in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Bryan Limpens managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederick Van Elsen during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Floreffe getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Frederick Van Elsen hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match Bryan Limpens climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Axel Roulin. Julien Franckx struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Bernard Mampaerts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floreffe. The supporters of Bergerhout booed when Floreffe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francois Callaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Floreffe's Brian Van Beetz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernard Mampaerts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 41st minute, Brian Van Beetz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernard Mampaerts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Bergerhout players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Floreffe were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brian Van Beetz made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Bergerhout's Bryan Limpens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Axel Roulin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjamin De Hertoge scored 2-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Axel Roulin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 63 minutes into the game, Floreffe's Julien Franckx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernard Mampaerts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 73 minutes into the match, Julien Franckx notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Bergerhout's Bernard Mampaerts. Bernard Mampaerts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Siebe Jansens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Axel Roulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Limpens in the 80th minute of play forced Floreffe's goalkeeper Axel Roulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benjamin De Hertoge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 83 minutes, Bryan Limpens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bergerhout's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryan Limpens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin De Hertoge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Axel Roulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
