Luuk Valckenaerts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benjamin De Hertoge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Bryan Limpens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luuk Valckenaerts was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Mats Van de cauter managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Vlierzele's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Van de cauter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernard Mampaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart De Metser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernt De Kelper charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
