Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Quillian Tubbackx got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Sam-Lucas Dierickx shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Josu Padriña showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 4th minute Quillian Tubbackx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josu Padriña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc De-Haan Academy's Arthur Huybrechts slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leo Coekelbergh. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. After 9 minutes, Sam-Lucas Dierickx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lauwe and the Fc De-Haan Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lauwe's Sam-Lucas Dierickx got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Pierre Van der Vorst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Martial Cuejvers sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fc De-Haan Academy's Josu Padriña didn't even have to move. Manu Suteweij sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arthur Huybrechts struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Leo Coekelbergh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc De-Haan Academy. Fc De-Haan Academy's Manu Suteweij got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dany Suteweij had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Fc De-Haan Academy's Leo Coekelbergh threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arthur Huybrechts, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Lauwe's Romain Verhaegen got a free kick in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Fc De-Haan Academy's Manu Suteweij nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leo Coekelbergh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Fc De-Haan Academy's Dany Suteweij sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Coekelbergh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. During the 32nd minute of the match Romain Verhaegen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Romain Verhaegen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 33rd match minute, Lauwe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romain Verhaegen to maneuver through the defense. Roben De Scheper's late challenge caught a Fc De-Haan Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roben De Scheper helped the player get up and apologised. Manu Suteweij could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Leo Coekelbergh made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Lauwe's goalkeeper Leo Coekelbergh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manu Suteweij. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dany Suteweij made a kick off. Joeri Van Impe was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lauwe getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Joeri Van Impe hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Lauwe's goal looked a bit too open when Dany Suteweij came free, but Leo Coekelbergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arthur Huybrechts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Coekelbergh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manu Suteweij went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Sam-Lucas Dierickx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Josu Padriña made a huge save. In the 78th minute Arthur Huybrechts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Coekelbergh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dany Suteweij had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauwe's Leo Coekelbergh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manu Suteweij in the 96th minute of play. Lauwe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
