In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind KAA Binkom's goalkeeper Nicolaas Van Haght, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brian Van Beetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Julien Franckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolaas Van Haght having to interfere. Frederick Van Elsen struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Nicolaas Van Haght didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floreffe. Brian Van Beetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ramon Vanden Driessche fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KAA Binkom's protests and gave Ramon Vanden Driessche a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes KAA Binkom got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Vanden Driessche. In the 39th minute of the match Willem-Alexander Huveneers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Axel Roulin skillfully saved the ball. Geoffry De Maijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Axel Roulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Roulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffry De Maijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Brian Van Beetz made the kick off in the second half. Ramon Vanden Driessche hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Nicolaas Van Haght stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Van Beetz's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute Julien Franckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas Van Haght saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tim-Jan Wagemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joery Gilis hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Geoffry De Maijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Roulin having to interfere. Geoffry De Maijer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Axel Roulin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, KAA Binkom's Tim-Jan Wagemans got a free kick in the 77th minute. Francois Callaerts's late challenge caught a KAA Binkom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francois Callaerts helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Floreffe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KAA Binkom:s goal. In the 90th minute, KAA Binkom's Geoffry De Maijer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Brian Van Beetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolaas Van Haght having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
