Dominic Van de kauter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias-Alexander Stocks having to interfere. When Felix Gijsbrechts fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Potten Breken's protests and gave Felix Gijsbrechts a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Felix Gijsbrechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias-Alexander Stocks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Van de kauter, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After some careless play in the FC Potten Breken defense, Dominic Van de kauter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathias-Alexander Stocks. The FC Potten Breken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathias-Alexander Stocks should have stopped the shot. Dominic Van de kauter struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Mathias-Alexander Stocks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for assnee. After 12 played minutes FC Potten Breken got a freekick which was hit by Lauren Bruyneel. 22 minutes into the match, FC Potten Breken's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Van de kauter came free, but Mathias-Alexander Stocks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Johnny Van Eijcke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Potten Breken's Mathias-Alexander Stocks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dominic Van de kauter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathias-Alexander Stocks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, assnee's Dominic Van de kauter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias-Alexander Stocks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Stephan De Maerschalck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles-Antoine De Muijser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles-Antoine De Muijser to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, assnee's goal looked a bit too open when Charles-Antoine De Muijser came free, but Stephan De Maerschalck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stephan De Maerschalck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles-Antoine De Muijser in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as assnee's Johnny Van Eijcke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mathias-Alexander Stocks. Geordy Schepmans's late challenge caught a FC Potten Breken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geordy Schepmans helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes assnee got a freekick which was hit by Geordy Schepmans. Geordy Schepmans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathias-Alexander Stocks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominic Van de kauter got free with Mathias-Alexander Stocks in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Youri Ramps in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stephan De Maerschalck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charles-Antoine De Muijser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan De Maerschalck having to interfere. Stephan De Maerschalck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perry Van Hoyveldt in the 93rd minute of the match. The FC Potten Breken supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching assnee's performance. The match ended with a win for assnee.
