The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Martial Beeckmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Evert De Raeijmaeckers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Martial Beeckmans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Qwinten De Fauw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Londerzeel's Bruno Louis got a free kick in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Qwinten De Fauw's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martial Beeckmans was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. If Qwinten De Fauw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Evert De Raeijmaeckers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martial Beeckmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes, Joeri Uytterhoeven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trois-Ponts and the Londerzeel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Joeri Uytterhoeven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan De Groote could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Guust Coomans made a huge save. Londerzeel's Martial Beeckmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert De Raeijmaeckers in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes in the game, Lars Desmet fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Guust Coomans having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Adams notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Londerzeel's Martial Beeckmans. Martial Beeckmans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evert De Raeijmaeckers made a kick off. Dan De Groote took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guust Coomans. Guust Coomans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Dan De Groote sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Evert De Raeijmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Qwinten De Fauw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Trois-Ponts's Evert De Raeijmaeckers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Emmanuel Adams hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Qwinten De Fauw left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trois-Ponts fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Evert De Raeijmaeckers was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 79th minute, Trois-Ponts's Evert De Raeijmaeckers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martial Beeckmans. Martial Beeckmans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Qwinten De Fauws short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Martial Beeckmans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Trois-Ponts getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Emmanuel Adams hit a great ball. Londerzeel's Martial Beeckmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert De Raeijmaeckers in the 94th minute of play.
