He was immediately shown a red card. 7 minutes into the game, one of Trois-Ponts:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for FC Potten Breken. Richey La Rose stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Guust Coomans. 1-0. Youri Ramps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Guust Coomans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Trois-Ponts getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Roni Hemberg hit a great ball. Trois-Ponts's supporters crossed their fingers, but Qwinten De Fauw was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 played minutes Trois-Ponts got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Pieter Wiggers. 21 minutes into the match, Richey La Rose sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Guust Coomans threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Richey La Rose this time. Mathias-Alexander Stocks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qwinten De Fauw in the 22nd minute of play. When Qwinten De Fauw came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Trois-Ponts fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Qwinten De Fauw couldn't finish the play. Emmanuel Adams blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathias-Alexander Stocks having to make a save. Qwinten De Fauw struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Mathias-Alexander Stocks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trois-Ponts. Joeri Uytterhoeven charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joeri Uytterhoeven the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mathias-Alexander Stocks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qwinten De Fauw in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
