If Matt Van Aken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommas Krabbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolf Vrijdags, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Goovaers hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes, Jasper Aelgoet mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 63rd match minute, F.C Roeselare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carel Van Linthoudt to maneuver through the defense.
