Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) RSC Anderlecht's Luka Bauwmans started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th of the match, Luka Bauwmans tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Samuel Claes got in the way and made a wonderful save. Samuel Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roben Olemans in the 6th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Roben Olemans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Claes. Dio Di Victoria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roben Olemans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Luka Bauwmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luka Bauwmans in the 21st minute of play. Johnny De Coster's late challenge caught a RSC Anderlecht's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johnny De Coster helped the player get up and apologised. Luka Bauwmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Claes having to interfere. Roben Olemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Samuel Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Roben Olemans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Anthony Mallaerts came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Dio Di Victoria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthony Mallaerts couldn't finish the play. Mattijs van Eijnde came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dio Di Victoria's Anthony Mallaerts. But to his dismay, Anthony Mallaerts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anthony Mallaerts was the one to do the kick off. If Luka Bauwmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, RSC Anderlecht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Klijnhens to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Dio Di Victoria's Mattijs van Eijnde threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anthony Mallaerts, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dio Di Victoria! Roben Olemans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute, Luka Bauwmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Dio Di Victoria getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Manuel Verheije hit a great ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Arnold Van den Gans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dio Di Victoria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnold Van den Gans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of RSC Anderlecht booed when Dio Di Victoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Verheije didn't get a good kick on the ball. RSC Anderlecht were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after Dio Di Victoria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olivier Lijsens took the corner. When the referee ended the match the RSC Anderlecht players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
