In the 38th minute Ief De Vos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Dio Di Victoria's goalkeeper Samuel Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattijs de Neuyter. FC CONGO's Mathieux Van Daelen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save FC CONGO from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC CONGO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dio Di Victoria had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
