Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mathias Van de Weijer made the kick off which started today's match. Jeoffrey Volders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piet Van Linthaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 4 minutes, Mickael Ourogge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Memphis F.C. and the Genec FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Genec FC booed when Memphis F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickael Ourogge didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Denis Geijselinx shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeoffrey Volders showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alek Van Achter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Van de Weijer in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Genec FC booed when Memphis F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickael Ourogge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genec FC's Alek Van Achter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Genec FC from getting a goal against them. Jeoffrey Volders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanny De Hondt in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Dante Van Gijsel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeoffrey Volders came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Genec FC's Bavo Vinx. But to his dismay, Bavo Vinx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 25th minute, Willy De Beer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 29th play minutes Willy De Beer shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Alek Van Achter and just under the crossbar into goal. When Memphis F.C.'s Mathias Van de Weijer in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Genec FC's goalie prevented a goal. Willy De Beer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alek Van Achter having to interfere. Mathias Van de Weijer might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alek Van Achter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathias Van de Weijer ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathias Van de Weijer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alek Van Achter. That made the score 2-2 in the 44 minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bavo Vinx made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willy De Beer in the 56th minute of play forced Genec FC's goalkeeper Alek Van Achter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Memphis F.C.'s Willy De Beer got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yvan Owerckx walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Mathias Van de Weijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bavo Vinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Memphis F.C.'s Mathias Van de Weijer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alek Van Achter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Memphis F.C. booed when Genec FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoffry De Schepper didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Willy De Beer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bavo Vinx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Jeoffrey Volders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 103 minutes, Bavo Vinx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genec FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bavo Vinx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
