With a left leg Anton Van der Sande saved FC Ernonheid from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, Terheide's Henk Wolfs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Van der Sande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Terheide's Henk Wolfs got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Jacq Leenpoels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Chris-George Van de Zande could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Richy Gijselinkx however easily saved by the left post. FC Ernonheid's Anton Van der Sande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Wolfs in the 36th minute of play. Jacq Leenpoels struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Anton Van der Sande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terheide.
