Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Koen Verdeyen started the match with the kick off. Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrice Rijmenans's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Brothers United's Koen Verdeyen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anton Van der Sande. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. A collision led to FC Ernonheid getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Peter Vanden Berghe hit a great ball. Anton Van der Sande stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Koen Verdeyen's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Greg De Koster shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Koen Verdeyen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Anton Van der Sande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Mathieu Colpaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Brothers United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathieu Colpaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, FC Brothers United's Anton Van der Sande threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Koen Verdeyen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Ernonheid's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Simon Van Lancker was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Brothers United's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Brothers United's corner Simon Van Lancker fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anton Van der Sande quite easily take care of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabrice Rijmenans made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Koen Verdeyen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Van der Sande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Koen Verdeyen came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the FC Brothers United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koen Verdeyen couldn't finish the play. Chris-George Van de Zande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chris-George Van de Zandes short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anton Van der Sande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koen Verdeyen, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Jean Laremans kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Koen Verdeyen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Anton Van der Sande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, FC Ernonheid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Laremans to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, FC Ernonheid's Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabrice Rijmenans, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to FC Ernonheid getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Harry Wortelers hit a great ball. Chris-George Van de Zande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrice Rijmenans, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Chris-George Van de Zande was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Mathieu Colpaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Brothers United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
