After a defensive mix-up in SPM FRONT's zone, Guillaume Van Leempoel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 33rd match minute, SPM FRONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marnix Eekhout to maneuver through the defense. Erik-Jan Van Linthoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Van Leempoel in the 36th minute of play.

In the 57th minute of the match Silvain Naessens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik-Jan Van Linthoud skillfully saved the ball. Guillaume Van Leempoel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillaume Van Leempoel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Erik-Jan Van Linthoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, SPM FRONT's goal looked a bit too open when Ief Rockeloos came free, but Erik-Jan Van Linthoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillaume Van Leempoel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
