Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgard Roosendael kicked off to start the match. In the 9th match minute, Excelsior Mullem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederic Robijns to maneuver through the defense. Mitch Wortelers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cedric Vuerinckx in the 18th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Roosendael couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Moleneind's Benjamin Schrevens got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Schrevens got free with Roel Van Leemputte in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the match, Excelsior Mullem's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Roosendael came free, but Roel Van Leemputte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
