Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the match, Terheide's goal looked a bit too open when Koen Verdeyen came free, but Richy Gijselinkx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richy Gijselinkx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu Colpaert in the 13th minute of play. If Jacq Leenpoels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henk Wolfs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of FC Brothers United booed when Terheide was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacq Leenpoels didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Ian Van Houdtvinck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Brothers United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terheide the free kick. In the 24th minute, Ian Van Houdtvinck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel De Hont took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser. FC Brothers United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abel De Hont hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Terheide were furious when Cesar Imbrechs was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Richy Gijselinkx went to the wrong direction when Simon Van Lancker was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 36th minute, Henk Wolfs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Terheide fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Henk Wolfs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richy Gijselinkx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koen Verdeyen in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Koen Verdeyen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Mathieu Colpaert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Brothers United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 57thth minute of the game Henk Wolfs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Brothers United's Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Koen Verdeyen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Henk Wolfs came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Terheide fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henk Wolfs couldn't finish the play. Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Lanckneus, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Guillaume Van den Plas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Guillaume Van den Plas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Henk Wolfs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 76thth minute of the game Henk Wolfs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Brothers United's Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Koen Verdeyen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richy Gijselinkx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathieu Colpaert in the 80th minute. Henk Wolfs struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terheide. When Andre Lanckneus came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Terheide fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre Lanckneus couldn't finish the play. Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henk Wolfs's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Henk Wolfs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terheide's supporters rose to their feet, but Henk Wolfs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre-Olivier De Ceijser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Richy Pelsmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Terheide fully deserved thier win.
