Henk Wolfs struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Silvain Van der Perren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terheide. Silvain Van der Perren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacq Leenpoels's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Tessenderlo's Ernest Cornelis tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Richy Gijselinkx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Waegemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tim Waegemans to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game, Jacq Leenpoels fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Silvain Van der Perren having to interfere. 52 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Terheide's Jacq Leenpoels fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillaume Van den Plas during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Terheide's Guillaume Van den Plas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvain Van der Perren. Silvain Van der Perren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Henk Wolfs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st match minute, Tessenderlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Coppens to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Terheide's Cesar Imbrechs to fire away a dangerous shot which Silvain Van der Perren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
