Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillaume Van den Plas during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 2 played minutes Terheide got a freekick which was hit by Guillaume Van den Plas. The SPM FRONT fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when SPM FRONT's Jamie De Ceijser looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 13 minutes into the game, Richy Pelsmaeckers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terheide's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SPM FRONT the free kick. Richy Pelsmaeckers hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Jannis Voets fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SPM FRONT's protests and gave Jannis Voets a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Terheide's Abel De Hont got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Erik-Jan Van Linthoud. Terheide's Henk Wolfs got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mickael Owerckx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henk Wolfs got free with Erik-Jan Van Linthoud in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacq Leenpoels to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickael Owerckx in the 59th minute of play forced Terheide's goalkeeper Richy Gijselinkx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play Terheide's Richy Pelsmaeckers was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 60 played minutes Terheide got a freekick which was hit by Richy Pelsmaeckers. After a defensive mix-up in SPM FRONT's zone, Henk Wolfs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik-Jan Van Linthoud came out of the goal and Henk Wolfs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillaume Van den Plas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik-Jan Van Linthoud having to make a save. Henk Wolfs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SPM FRONT's Erik-Jan Van Linthoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Wolfs in the 72nd minute of play. Guillaume Van den Plas got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 74th match minute, Terheide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Van den Plas to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Andre Lanckneus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacq Leenpoels charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacq Leenpoels the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Terheide got a freekick which was hit by Jacq Leenpoels. If Jacq Leenpoels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Andre Lanckneus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik-Jan Van Linthoud was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. SPM FRONT's Mickael Owerckx got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SPM FRONT's zone, Jacq Leenpoels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik-Jan Van Linthoud came out of the goal and Jacq Leenpoels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henk Wolfs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik-Jan Van Linthoud having to interfere. Amaury Rijmenams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik-Jan Van Linthoud having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Terheide had played much better football throughout.
