Spectators: 6550 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dimitri Sabbe started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Jilian Cuelens got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Constantijn Vrijdag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Meys in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Rolf Anthonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantijn Vrijdag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Anthonis in the 18th minute of play forced Antwarep's goalkeeper Constantijn Vrijdag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolf Anthonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Constantijn Vrijdag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Jilian Cuelens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antwarep's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jilian Cuelens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantijn Vrijdag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Anthonis in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Louis Vissenaekers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantijn Vrijdag was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Antwarep's Constantijn Vrijdag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Anthonis in the 31st minute of play. Teo Meys struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Constantijn Vrijdag didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Schaatsertje. Jilian Cuelens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tommy Van Hespen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Jilian Cuelens fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tommy Van Hespen, passed just outside the right post. Jilian Cuelens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Van Hespen having to interfere. In the 44th minute Brecht Sulems shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantijn Vrijdag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Meys in the 47th minute of play forced Antwarep's goalkeeper Constantijn Vrijdag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half FC Schaatsertje were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo Meys made a kick off. Constantijn Vrijdag took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Meys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantijn Vrijdag showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Meys, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Constantijn Vrijdag came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Schaatsertje's Rolf Anthonis. But to his dismay, Rolf Anthonis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 67th minute, Teo Meys reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Constantijn Vrijdag. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 79th minute Teo Meys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantijn Vrijdag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, FC Schaatsertje's Mats De Kepper dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 92nd minute of the match, Rolf Anthonis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Constantijn Vrijdag was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 94th minute, FC Schaatsertje's Brecht Sulems ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Constantijn Vrijdag. Constantijn Vrijdag yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. When the final whistle sounded FC Schaatsertje left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Antwarep.
