Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joachim Imbrechts started the match with the kick off. If Izak De Koning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, FC Schaatsertje's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Imbrechts came free, but Tommy Van Hespen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolf Anthonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Teo Meys managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Schaatsertje's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Meys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam Callaerts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teo Meys got free with Sam Callaerts in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Jarno Van De Putts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KSV Ramillies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Teo Meys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Sam Callaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarno Van De Putts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Van Hespen having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Teo Meys made the kick off in the second half. Joachim Imbrechts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Van Hespen having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Joachim Imbrechts managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSV Ramillies's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Imbrechts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Van Hespen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarno Van De Putts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as KSV Ramillies's Joachim Imbrechts slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Van Hespen. That made the score 0-2 after 57 minutes of play. KSV Ramillies's Sam Callaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Meys in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Meys in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sam Callaerts saved KSV Ramillies from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Rolf Anthonis notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of KSV Ramillies's Sam Callaerts. Sam Callaerts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the match, KSV Ramillies's Joachim Imbrechts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Van Hespen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Rolf Anthonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Callaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to KSV Ramillies getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Christoph Baumans hit a great ball. Sam Callaerts came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Schaatsertje's Teo Meys. But to his dismay, Teo Meys quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Rolf Anthonis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Van Hespen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Imbrechts in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, KSV Ramillies's Christoph Baumans got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
