Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Francois Kempenaerts got the match started through his kick off. Stefaan Van Hoeyvelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Comblain-au-Pont fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Tom De Wortelaers had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Jeoffrey Sproten's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 15th minute, Thommy Cornelis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diederick Deckkers. The goal made the score 1-0. Ruud Dockx charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruud Dockx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thommy Cornelis got free with Diederick Deckkers in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Charles-Antoine Pelsers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claus Timmermans kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Comblain-au-Pont's zone, Jeoffrey Sproten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom De Wortelaers came out of the goal and Jeoffrey Sproten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tom De Wortelaers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francois Kempenaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to kvk Avelgem getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Francois Kempenaerts hit a great ball. kvk Avelgem's Diederick Deckkers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save kvk Avelgem from getting a goal against them. Thommy Cornelis came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Diederick Deckkers could save by the left post. 45 minutes into the game, Thommy Cornelis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Diederick Deckkers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Thommy Cornelis made the kick off in the second half. Tom De Wortelaers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francois Kempenaerts showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 52 minute of play. In the 55th minute, Charles-Antoine Pelsers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Thommy Cornelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comblain-au-Pont's supporters rose to their feet, but Thommy Cornelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diederick Deckkers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the game, Thommy Cornelis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Diederick Deckkers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the kvk Avelgem defense, Thommy Cornelis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diederick Deckkers. The kvk Avelgem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diederick Deckkers should have stopped the shot. Yannik Slegers kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Thommy Cornelis struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Diederick Deckkers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comblain-au-Pont. 77 minutes into the game, Oliver Van Ghele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Comblain-au-Pont's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave kvk Avelgem the free kick. After 77 played minutes Comblain-au-Pont got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Van Ghele. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francois Kempenaerts in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom De Wortelaers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th match minute, Comblain-au-Pont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Van Ghele to maneuver through the defense. Thommy Cornelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Diederick Deckkers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thommy Cornelis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diederick Deckkers having to make a save. Charles-Antoine Pelsers might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diederick Deckkers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles-Antoine Pelsers ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute Thommy Cornelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diederick Deckkers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Pierrot Van Poucke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. kvk Avelgem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comblain-au-Pont the free kick. The supporters of Comblain-au-Pont booed when kvk Avelgem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruud Dockx didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Comblain-au-Pont players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
