Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dreas Moerman started the match with the kick off. Wilfried Roussel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dreas Moerman in the 3rd minute of the match. Dreas Moerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Wilfried Roussel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robby de Nooter's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Wilfried Roussel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dreas Moerman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfried Roussel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Robby de Nooters short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Wilfried Roussel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wilfried Roussel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dreas Moerman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sclessin's Alek Van Den Poel got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Jammy Huvenaerts fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sclessin's protests and gave Jammy Huvenaerts a yellow card for diving instead. Jammy Huvenaerts hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes, Staden's Nestor Rokeloos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Harry Van Den Linden came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Staden reached it. Harry Van Den Linden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Van Eycke in the 24th minute of the match. If Joe Van Eycke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dreas Moerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robby de Nooter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Wilfried Roussel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54thth minute of the game Robby de Nooter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Staden's Wilfried Roussel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Staden's Wilfried Roussel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dreas Moerman in the 56th minute of play. Dreas Moerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Robby de Nooter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sclessin's supporters rose to their feet, but Robby de Nooter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfried Roussel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casper Wolput sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68thth minute of the game Dreas Moerman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Staden's Wilfried Roussel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harry Van Den Linden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Van Eycke in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Staden's zone, Robby de Nooter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfried Roussel came out of the goal and Robby de Nooter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Perry Van Meerbeec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Van Den Linden having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robby de Nooter in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfried Roussel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sclessin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
