The supporters of Comblain-au-Pont booed when Sclessin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geert Van Den Eijnde didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Claus Timmermans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Comblain-au-Pont's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claus Timmermans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tom De Wortelaers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dreas Moerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Sclessin's Harry Van Den Linden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claus Timmermans in the 19th minute of play. Claus Timmermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Van Den Linden having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Sclessin's goal looked a bit too open when Claus Timmermans came free, but Harry Van Den Linden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Thommy Cornelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robby de Nooter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thommy Cornelis in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Harry Van Den Linden, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robby de Nooter in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom De Wortelaers saved Comblain-au-Pont from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Claus Timmermans made the kick off in the second half. Thommy Cornelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Harry Van Den Linden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casper Wolput hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Robby de Nooter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom De Wortelaers having to interfere. If Claus Timmermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claus Timmermans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harry Van Den Linden having to make a save. Harry Van Den Linden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thommy Cornelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Comblain-au-Pont booed when Sclessin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Helsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harry Van Den Linden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thommy Cornelis in the 86th minute of the match. Dreas Moerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tom De Wortelaers made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Robby de Nooter sent off a good shot on target. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
