Vince Laporte might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jordy Schamp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vince Laporte ran back to his position shaking his head. Jordy Schamp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Vranx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CH Gentierakos getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Felix De Hont hit a great ball. Vince Laporte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jordy Schamp came out and tried to block the shot, but Vince Laporte slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Antoine Goovaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in CH Gentierakos's zone, Raymond Vranx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordy Schamp came out of the goal and Raymond Vranx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Antoine Goovaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Raymond Vranx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jordy Schamp was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Raymond Vranx came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FC Maissin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymond Vranx couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute Raymond Vranx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordy Schamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raymond Vranx to make the kick off. Jordy Schamp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Vranx in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of CH Gentierakos booed when FC Maissin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans de Nooter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Frans de Nooter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordy Schamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vince Laporte in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jordy Schamp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Antoine Goovaerts fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CH Gentierakos's protests and gave Antoine Goovaerts a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CH Gentierakos getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Antoine Goovaerts hit a great ball. Raymond Vranx succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frans de Nooter during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, FC Maissin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans de Nooter to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, CH Gentierakos's goal looked a bit too open when Raymond Vranx came free, but Jordy Schamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CH Gentierakos's Jordy Schamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Vranx in the 88th minute of play.
