The audience was convinced that Joachim Rummens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jordy Schamp was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 6th minute Joachim Rummens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordy Schamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, KFC Waarebeek's Joachim Rummens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jordy Schamp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Thibau Soens came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the KFC Waarebeek fans jumped to their feet. Felix De Hont could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Douglas Van Lueven made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Dimitri Thielens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CH Gentierakos's Jordy Schamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thibau Soens in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Joachim Rummens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordy Schamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Rummens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jordy Schamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix De Hont hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Thibau Soens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordy Schamp having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix De Hont to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Thibau Soens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jordy Schamp. Thibau Soens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 56th match minute, CH Gentierakos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glenn Enfant to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thibau Soens got free with Jordy Schamp in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The KFC Waarebeek fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when KFC Waarebeek's Joachim Rummens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to CH Gentierakos getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Antoine Goovaerts hit a great ball. With a little luck, CH Gentierakos's Jordy Schamp got control of the ball when Thibau Soens tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thibau Soens couldn't finish the play. Michael Meertens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordy Schamp having to interfere. Michael Meertens struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jordy Schamp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Waarebeek. Thibau Soens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix De Hont fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 88th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Joachim Rummens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jordy Schamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Antoine Goovaerts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CH Gentierakos and the KFC Waarebeek players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of KFC Waarebeek booed when CH Gentierakos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoine Goovaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 96 in the game by Thibau Soens from a close distance when the talented Jordy Schamp managed to make a qualified save. CH Gentierakos's players were relieved. KFC Waarebeek's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
