In the 26th minute, Borgloon KFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wilfried Ryers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sander Billen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfried Ryers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wilfried Ryers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sander Billen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfried Ryers in the 37th minute of the match. Wilfried Ryers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to krokante frietjes getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. After 44 played minutes krokante frietjes got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Van Aken. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martijn Eijkens was the one to do the kick off. If Martijn Eijkens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martijn Eijkens struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jelle Huvenaerts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borgloon KFC. Sander Billen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Verhengen's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Wilfried Ryers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The krokante frietjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 66th match minute, Borgloon KFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glenn Hemeleers to maneuver through the defense. Sander Billen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Verhengen in the 67th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Edward Verhengen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Borgloon KFC's Sander Billen. Sander Billen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edward Verhengen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, krokante frietjes's Marcus Van Achteren tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, one of Borgloon KFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for krokante frietjes. Marcus Van Achteren stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sander Billen. 3-0. Jelle Huvenaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martijn Eijkens in the 88th minute of play. When Edward Verhengen came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the krokante frietjes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Verhengen couldn't finish the play. Sander Billen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfried Ryers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. krokante frietjes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
